The FEHNIX approach

The owners were returning a seven-hectare paddock to native vegetation. A ground crew had manually sprayed around individual plants the previous year, but results were inconsistent. Grass remained established across the paddock and was beginning to smother the young natives.
FEHNIX treated the entire restoration area, applying a selective herbicide across the full paddock by drone. This controlled the competing grasses without the time and labour required to spray around each plant individually.
The whole-field application delivered more consistent coverage and reduced competition around the native plants. With better access to light, moisture and nutrients, the plantings were given the space needed to establish and grow.
