Certainly, the product we use has a proven track record of safe and effective moss, mould, and lichen removal for over 39 years. It's extensively used on various external building surfaces, including roofs, walls, painted surfaces, concrete paths, drives, asphalt, and tennis courts. The formula is bleach-free (chlorine-free), phosphate-free, non-acidic, and fully biodegradable once diluted.
No, the treatment will not kill plants if used carefully by avoiding direct spray onto foliage. In some cases, it may cause minor spot damage to the leaves of delicate plants. If in doubt, rinse the leaves off with water.
For added precaution, we recommend customers shield the plants with paper or plastic. In the rare instance of accidental exposure, a quick rinse with water from the hose is advised to ensure the continued health of the plants. Your proactive measures contribute to a seamless and worry-free experience.
You can schedule the spraying process at any time of the year, provided the ambient temperature is above 10 degrees Celsius. Warmer temperatures enhance the bio-cidal activity, resulting in a faster and more efficient cleanup.
FEHNIX takes utmost care to minimize any potential residual chemicals on windows and surfaces during our spraying process. Our professional drone pilots follow precise application procedures to ensure targeted coverage while avoiding overspray onto windows and other surfaces. In the rare instance of incidental contact, any residual chemical can be easily washed off with water. Additionally, our spray formula is designed to be biodegradable once diluted, contributing to environmental responsibility, and leaving minimal impact on surrounding surfaces.
- Disconnect and Stay Disconnected: Disconnect the system before treatment and keep it off for 2 to 4 weeks, with at least one day of rain.
- Continuous Usage: Despite disconnection, water can still be used during this period.
- Reconnect Safely: Before reconnecting, check the rainwater for any smell or frothing. If present, delay reconnection until the runoff is clean.
- Considerations for Garden-Only Systems: For garden-only systems, the disconnection period may be shorter, but always reconnect after a substantial rainfall has thoroughly flushed the roof. Following these steps ensures the safety and quality of collected rainwater for both residential and commercial applications.
